Minnesota Wedding Guide
Minnesota offers a lot of great getaway options. Take a riverboat ride down the Mississippi River through St. Paul or play golf on one of hundreds of golf courses. In the winter you can try your hand at skiing, snowmobiling, or even dog sledding. Simply put, brides will love the wide selection of activities that their friends and family can take advantage of before and after the ceremony. The weather in the winter can be harsh, but it definitely creates the perfect white winter wedding. Unknown to most, Minnesota has hundreds and hundreds of lakes, so fishing is a year around sport. Shockingly, it has so many lakes in fact that it has more shoreline than Hawaii, Florida and California all put together. I'll give you a minute to take that in.
Minnesota is also the home of the largest mall anywhere in the world called the Mall of America that even comes complete with an amusement park inside which showcases a roller coaster. Yes, a roller coaster inside of the mall. There are plenty of chapels to hold a wedding in popular areas such as St. Paul and Minneapolis, as well as garden wedding venues like the Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis, and Japanese Gardens at the Como Conservatory and Normandale Community College.
